Damn sure hope we keep this going, found more tunes I now enjoy on ATS than I can count. Here's one from Joe Satriani
definitely mood music but it's hits all the right notes for me. Such a good driving song hell this whole album is. I'd have a 9 o'clock AM appointment in Charlotte and I was 5 hours away,  a cup of coffee and this CD would get me there.

Another member's music lyrics...God is against wearing clothes, so we wear fig leaves.

We want to be God's equal, so we wear fig leaves.

I do like a little "Post Rock" now and again. Great guitars.

I'm a big fan of Phil Gould.  He was the drummer and co-founder of my favourite British group Level 42, a jazz funk/jazz rock group from the 80's. He left Level 42 in the late 80's, along with his brother Boon due to artistic differences with Mark King (Mark was taking the music more mainstream pop).  Phil has done session music since but released 2 albums, one in 2009 "Watertight" and one in 2021 "Beautiful Wounds".  On both albums Phil primarily sings backing vocals.

If you like really mellow jazz rock then try Watertight
