Could some theories in physics be truly something else instead?

I read up on them and I see there are all kinds of dyson stuff. The theory was coined by a man named Freeman Dyson who died in 2020 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeman_Dyson

As I was reading his stuff I realized he wasn't always confident about his theories...anyways I want touch on the idea of a dyson swarm... When I was reading about a dyson sphere I thought that the swarm and sphere are pretty much the same if you think about it, first you would create a swarm of satellites which could evolve into a sphere. But here's the plot twist..

What if consciousness could be a dyson swarm? As you're thinking your thoughts are swarming around and when you focus on a thought your mind surrounds it like a sphere. You can really see your consciousness swarm while looking towards the sun, but not directly at it. They look like little black dots around your eyes.
Dyson trees are said to grow in comets, so if there are dyson concepts about stars, comets, everywhere in existence what if that could be the key to consciousness? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyson's_et...telligence

I have been called a joyless materialist on consciousness. But I found if I compare my phenomenal materialism to the Eastern concept of "no-self" people no longer know what to say, especially if I flex my worldly minor knowledge and show off with sanskit words.

Otherwise, You're thread makes me miss acid.

No. In fact, I think it's the opposite, as I tend to focus my vision on a fixed point when I'm concentrating on something.

PS: I always find it funny when people tell me what my body does as if they know it better than I do. Smile

EVERY theory in physics COULD be something else.

That's how science works.
NO theory in Physics (or any other science) has even been conclusively proven - just consistently supported by experiment after experiment.
