Humans fail to consider the dangers of robots.
This humanoid robot (very promarive android) demonstration in China, resulted in a small child getting kicked in the midsection.
This was not an AI operated demonstration. Just a preprogrammed sequence supervised and ran by the event operators.
The event failed to maintain safe distance between the robot and audience.
The event failed to respond to the kick, as stated by the mother of the child.
The child was not seriously injured, again by the mother's statement.
How long before one draws blood in public? There have been several deaths in labs and factories but not in public. If you consider self driving vehicles as robots, there has already been several public deaths. If that kick had been to the childs head, there could have been severe injuries at least. That is a 70 pound fast moving metal machine.
I think if this happened in the USA, it would be scrap metal in minutes.
